DATA OFFICE ASSISTANT

 

REPORTS TO:

Director of Research & Accountability

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

40 hours per week / 12-month position

EFFECTIVE DATE OF EMPLOYMENT:

As soon as possible after posting period closes

SALARY:

$60,000 per year

 

  REQUIREMENTS:

 

  1. A high school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  2. Ability to organize, plan, and support data collection and entry tasks. 
  3. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and develop positive interpersonal relationships with staff members.
  4. Ability to produce timely and accurate reports, both scheduled and ad hoc.
  5. Demonstrated technology proficiency to produce, manage, and use various data collection tools.  Knowledge of or ability to learn X2/Aspen and other technology tools.
  6. Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.

 

  PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Collaborate in the development and dissemination of student-related reports and accountability reports, including the distribution of annual MCAS Parent/Guardian reports to schools.
  2. Assist the data team with data entry and maintaining accuracy in all data systems.
  3. Organize, plan, and support data collection tasks for various internal and external reports, including those mandated by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
  4. Work with the data team to conduct training and support all staff.
  5. Provide administrative support to the Data Office including management of telephone and email communications and coordinating responses to support ticket requests through Incident IQ.
  6. Perform password resets for staff, student, and parent access to Aspen.
  7. Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the Assistant Superintendent of Schools & Leadership or Director of Research and Accountability may assign.
